I thought by now I would have found some links from this tree to the other Yorkshire trees, the stumbling block is who is William born about 1809 and who did he marry. Unfortunately I have not found Richard`s 1830 baptism records either. On Richards marriage certificate his fathers occupation is shown as Engineer.
On tree No 1 we have a William b 1789 with a wife Hannah (Plows) who on the C1841 have a son Richard b1826 with Williams occupation as Engineer - looks like the same person but is it ?
Richards age came from his marriage certificate and they correspond with the later census records !
I have no Turnpenny photographs of people in this tree. There must be some wonderful pictures somewhere so please share, it would be very much appreciated. I also know that there is lots of younger generation Turnpenny`s in the Rotherham area who may be able to expand this tree, again make contact.Thanks.
This Tree is still continuing with the last male born in 1988
